View Submitted Applications
One of our top priorities at HireArt is being as transparent as possible with candidates regarding our process. We know how frustrating it can be to put so much work into an application, only for it to end up in a black hole.
Only slightly less frustrating is submitting an application but not having any record or memory of what you sent. That’s why we’ve introduced the ability to review old applications from your dashboard.
If you click on a completed application, you’ll be able to see the questions you answered, your responses, and the job description.
Rerecord Flagged Responses
You may notice that, on occasion, an application you already submitted gets sent back to you. This will happen if our graders notice a fixable issue that might immediately disqualify your application. It could be a technical problem (ie, we can’t hear or see you), a file upload error, or most commonly, mentions of a different employer or job title that you previously applied to.
If this happens, clicking on the job in your dashboard will take you to a screen where you can fix the flagged response, update any other answers, and resubmit your application for review.
We highly encourage you to reuse your applications for as many jobs as interest you, but we also know that accidents happen, and we want to help you put your best foot forward.
Review Quick Apply Applications Before Submitting
Lastly, we realized that, when submitting a Quick Apply application (one that reuses existing responses from a previous application), it wasn’t always clear to candidates what was being sent to employers. Now you’ll know! When you go to a Quick Apply job, in addition to the employer-specific supplemental question, you’ll see a new option to “Review.” If you click this button, you’ll be taken to a page where you can complete the last question, as well as review and make changes to any other responses before submitting your application.
We hope these tools help you apply to new opportunities with more ease and confidence. We are constantly working on new features and improvements to make your experience with HireArt even better. Keep your eyes peeled, and we’ll keep you posted as we roll them out!
